Vicki’s journey with voiceover started on her fifth birthday – she got a big, boxy cassette tape recorder as a gift that sparked an interest in creating voice recordings. This childhood fascination translated into a career as a voiceover professional, and luckily, she’s got a knack for it. Vicki has worked with an impressive list of national clients including AT&T, Pizza Hut, H&R Block, T-Mobile, Chevron, Hardee’s, the LPGA Golf Association, Delta Dental and more. 

 

As for genres, Vicki is flexible and appreciates the nuance each type of project has to offer: the energy of commercials, the acumen of e-learning, the inflection of political reads. She’s a lifelong learner and is always looking for opportunities to improve her skill set. In fact, Vicki has worked with a number of voiceover coaches, including J. Michael Collins, Moneen Daley and others, who have helped her enhance her authentic sound. 

 

Directable, prepared, and reliable, Vicki is as professional as she is talented. Her aim in every session is for her clients to think “well, that was easy.” She brings a strong work ethic and problem-solving attitude to the table; give a bit of direction, and be ready for Vicki to exceed your expectations. 

 

Vicki works from her professional-grade home studio equipped with a Studiobrick One VO Edition booth, an Audiotechnica AT4040 mic and Yamaha AG-03 interface. Outside the booth, Vicki is an accomplished singer, actress and DIY influencer (check out her award-winning YouTube channel “On The Fly…DIY.”) She has a BA in Music with a concentration in audio engineering from the UMKC Conservatory of Music and a Master’s in Management from American Military University.

Vicki’s combined creative efforts have garnered her several distinguished awards.  When the prestigious Communicator Award winners were recently announced by the Academy of Interactive and Virtual Arts (AIVA), she won in the highest category, nabbing an Award of Excellence for her voice over and video production work as well as an Award of Distinction for her voice over work.  She won the coveted Telly Award for writing, voicing, filming and producing a marketing video for a St. Louis-based 501c3 non-profit.  She was named a W3 Award Gold Winner in the Web Series category for writing, voicing, filming, and producing On The Fly…DIY. 

 

Vicki was also nominated for several awards to include 2021 and 2022 One Voice Award nominations, both in the Best VO in E-Learning category, a National Woman of Influence Award nomination in their Emerging Business category, and a SOVAS Voice Arts Award nomination in the Best E-Learning Demo category.
